Calvert Catholic Schools Principal Press Release: Megan Schultz

Calvert Catholic Schools proudly announces the Academy & High School (Grades 6-12) is led by Mrs. Megan Schultz, as building Principal. Dr. Jeremy Marinis, Head of Schools, details Mrs. Schultz’s extensive educational experience. ‘She is committed to advancing Calvert’s mission and educational excellence, as she is a graduate of CCS’ shares Marinis. Mrs. Schultz resides in Tiffin, with husband and fellow Calvert alum, Mr. Austin Schultz. Mrs. Schultz has received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Communication, a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate degree in School Administration & Supervision.

Prior to employment with CCS, Mrs. Schultz began her professional career with Tiffin University. She served the Student Affairs Department, ensuring student safety, student wellness, and student conduct parameters were met. Following her time with TU, Mrs. Schultz supported the Administration Building of Vanguard-Sentinel Career & Technology Centers, assembling district personnel affairs as well as aiding the Superintendent’s day-to-day operations. From career and technical education, Mrs. Schultz joined the Calvert faculty. She has taught 7th Grade Religion & Social Studies, 10th Grade Religion, and will continue to teach a 9th Grade Skills for Life course.

Mrs. Schultz is an alumna of all three educational organizations by which her professional career is rounded. Her experiences have shaped her outlook on student mental health awareness, career readiness, and academic rigor. Calvert Catholic Schools will continue to be different by design, as the Academy & High School will enhance their school culture expectations this year. Under the leadership of Principal Schultz, Calvert students will uphold a culture of respect and unity. The ‘Men & Women of Calvert’ (#MWC) referring to each student Grades 6-12, will be guided by Faculty and Staff to have Modest Moral Judgment; to be Witnesses of Compassion; and to lead as Champions of the Seneca Nation!

Positive work has already begun; enhancing district facilities, preparing Faculty & Staff to welcome students back in August, and maintaining Calvert’s outward impact as an educational opportunity in Seneca County, to grow and develop the whole student; spiritually, academically, physically, and socially.

Mrs. Schultz can be reached via email: mschultz@calvertcatholic.org & by phone: (419) 447-3844.
