A New Year of Opportunity at Calvert Catholic Schools
From the Desk of Dr. Jeremy Marinis
As we begin a new year at Calvert Catholic Schools, the first thing that comes to mind is gratitude. Recognition of the foundations that were built, the people who continue to believe in our mission, and the unmistakable momentum that is carrying us forward. 2025 was a period of development, not accidental, but intentional. Classrooms evolved, leadership deepened, programs expanded, and our students continued to prove that faith, character, and distinction are not separate efforts, but shared outcomes.
Now, 2026 calls us to something more. It calls us to be intentional in how we share the impact that’s happening inside these walls every single day. For years, Calvert has been a place where meaningful learning takes place, where coaches invest beyond the scoreboard, where faculty members shape the whole person, and where formation is not an add-on; it is the heartbeat. The difference now is that we are choosing to bring these stories forward. We will no longer wait for others to notice the Calvert experience. This year, we will show it.
That is why we are launching our newest initiative: Calvert Forward.
Calvert Forward is a renewed promise to our students, families, and community that we are not only continuing the mission but also advancing it. This campaign will highlight the individual successes that define who we are and who we are becoming. We will spotlight teachers whose innovation is advancing learning. Students whose achievements prove what is possible. Alumni whose lives reflect the values formed here. Coaches whose leadership shapes more than athletes. And families who choose Calvert because they see the difference in their children.
This is a new year. A new opportunity. Not to reinvent who we are, but to reveal who we’ve become. We’re ready to share more of it with you. We are Calvert Catholic Schools. And we are moving forward, together.
God Bless & Go Blue,
Dr. Jeremy Marinis
