Greetings Tiffin Community,

I would like to take this opportunity to talk about loyalty, dedication and selfless leadership. In a world where it has become easier to job hunt for the larger salary or higher promotion, it is important to honor those that choose a higher purpose. Mr. Ted Willman dedicated more than 30 years to Calvert Catholic Schools in various roles as coach, Athletic Director, teacher, and administrator. Ted not only mentored and guided students in and out of the classroom, he demonstrated passion for physical plant enhancements and improvements as well. There was never a project that he was not willing to assist with and did so without the expectation of recognition.

Ted has the approach of doing whatever is needed to be successful and this is evident in how he lives his life. No job is too big or too small. I do think it is important to share Ted’s story in a time when our society can be so divided. Ted brings people together and will continue to do this in his new professional adventure at Terra State Community College.Student mentorship is the core of Ted’s passion and he will now share this gift with the students at Terra through his roles as Head Women’s Basketball coach and Academic Advisor. Calvert and our community has been blessed to have Ted’s dedication for more than 30 years and now the students at Terra will grow through his mentorship.

Thank you Ted for reminding us of the value of loyalty, compassion, dedication and care for one another.
