Dr. Marinis Monthly Memo - June 2026

Building the Future Together

There are certain moments in the life of a school that remind you just how special a community truly is.

For Calvert Catholic Schools, this is one of those moments. After months of planning, conversations, collaboration, and prayer, we are incredibly proud to officially break ground on the new Dysard Athletic Complex,  a transformational multipurpose facility that will serve our students, families, and community for generations to come.

The Dysard Athletic Complex is named after Matt and Theresa Dysard who are loyal Calvert supporters. Matt is a 1987 alumnus who has a philanthropic spirit for making our community stronger.

What makes this project even more meaningful is the incredible generosity behind it. Through additional financial support, the Dysard Athletic Complex is being made possible entirely through private financial support, and I want to personally express my deepest gratitude to everyone who believed in this vision from the very beginning. Your investment in our students and in Catholic education here in Tiffin is something we will never take for granted.

Finally, sharing this announcement publicly is both exciting and deeply meaningful. Behind every rendering, every conversation, and every step forward is a group of people who care deeply about the future of Calvert Catholic Schools.

This facility will support countless experiences across our campus, from athletics and marching band to cheerleading, school events, student activities, and community engagement. More importantly, it represents opportunity. Opportunity for our students to grow. Opportunity for our school community to gather. Opportunity for Calvert to continue moving boldly into the future.

I am also especially proud that this project will largely utilize local partners and constituents throughout the construction process. Supporting our local community while building something that will impact generations of students makes this moment even more special.

At Calvert, we often talk about preparing students for the future while remaining grounded in faith, tradition, and community. This project is a reflection of exactly that.

As we officially begin construction, I cannot help but feel overwhelming excitement for what lies ahead. This groundbreaking is just one example of the continued momentum happening across Calvert Catholic Schools, and we look forward to sharing more exciting updates and insights throughout the summer months.

Be sure to stay connected through our Monthly Memo and social media channels as we continue building for the future together.

As another incredible school year comes to a close, I also want to wish all of our students, families, faculty, staff, alumni, and supporters a blessed summer. Thank you for continuing to believe in and support the mission of Calvert Catholic Schools.

The future of Calvert is bright, and we are just getting started.

God Bless & Go Blue,

Dr. Jeremy Marinis
