Dear Calvert Family,
As we step into another school year, I am filled with a profound sense of joy as I walk through our halls, full of our students and staff. The energy of a new beginning is alive—smiling faces, eager learners, and the faith-filled mission of our school community guiding each step: One Family Committed to Christ. What a gift it is to be surrounded by Calvert Senecas!
This year, we are excited to offer an even more intimate look Inside Calvert. We want to share the heart of what makes this community so unique—the stories of our families, alumni, teachers, and students. These stories not only celebrate the successes within our walls but also inspire others in the wider community.
I want to ask you to reflect on this question:In your circle of influence, how are you spreading the joy of a Calvert education?
Everyone is part of the mission. Perhaps you’ve shared with a friend how Calvert has impacted your family. Maybe you’ve shared with a coworker the values instilled in our students. Or possibly you have simply embodied the Seneca spirit through your kindness, service, and leadership in everyday life. These are powerful testimonies that go far beyond our school community—they plant seeds of transformation within our community.
This year, I encourage you to share your Calvert story. Share the joy you have experienced, the lessons learned, the values instilled, and the ways the Seneca community has shaped you and your family. When we tell our stories, we inspire others to believe in the vision of Calvert Catholic Schools and to consider how they, too, can be part of this beautiful mission.
Your voice matters. Together, as one Calvert family, we can extend the reach of our mission far beyond our walls.
On behalf of our entire faculty and staff, welcome back to another year. May our community continue to thrive as we live out our calling to form disciples of Jesus Christ.
I welcome you to reach out if you have any questions about the mission of Calvert Catholic Schools, or if you are eager to share your story with our audience. We would love to highlight your experience on a greater scale to inspire future Senecas. Please email me at jmarinis@calvertcatholic.org.
God Bless & Go Blue!
Dr. Jeremy Marinis
